More Revolution news

Jim Merrick has more news for us today as he talks about the Revolution sequel games and he will talk about the Revolution's controller. Merrick says that Mario Revolution, Super Smash Bros. Revolution, Metroid Prime 3, and the Zelda Revolution titles are progressing well. Merrick comments about the comparsion of Revolution controller and a traditional controller, and he said the controller shell will not only play for retro game. He states,

"This option is there for new games that will be created that are most suited to a traditional style of controller. We are not trying to say that the ‘traditional’ controller design is not valid, in fact Nintendo is responsible for most of the features that are found on today’s traditional controller like the d-pad, analog stick, rumble, et cetera."

It would be great to see Mario Revolution, Zelda Revolution, and Metroid Prime 3 coming to the Revolution as launch titles, and Merrick's comment about the controller shell might calm some people down who do not like the new Revolution controller.
