THQ's low Revolution budget

Bad news for the Revolution, THQ has announced that they would concentrate their development resources for the PS3 and Xbox360 around an amazing 80 percent equally. Since THQ will give both Xbox360 and PS3 more budget, that leaves the Revolution a measly 20 percent. This might show that THQ has less expectation on Nintendo's next-gen console.

You must figure in the fact that Nintendo has plainly stated that Revolution devolopment will be easy in which leads to cheaper in which return unlike the Rev which is using techonolgy related to Gamecube's according to Shigeru Miyamoto the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 internal design is nearly completely different therefore taking more time to make games for and a larger devolopment party costing more money in the long-run.

Yea, so basically they may not need to tunnel as many resources into Rev development as they would for 360 and ps3. The Rev is based of the gcn sdk, that alone makes up for thr the 13% lost.

Plus, you should figure in the fact that THQ sucks. :P

and what of the portables?

20% is extreamly low for PSP, DS and GBA.

Looks like the portables are just going to get short, cheap, 2D games from THQ then.

Until then, hooray!
