Blizzard Games Coming to DS?
According to gba.n64, Blizzards most recent newsletter asked readers if they would buy diablo II for the DS if it would feature network play. Blizzard also asked if players would be interested in buying the real-time strategy game starcraft for the DS. Blizzard has not announced any firm plans but from what we are seeing they are, at the least, interested.

This sounds absolutely excellent, sounds like we just might get an mmorpg or at least an online rpg.

Wow, Diablo for DS would sell millions. If they ever made Diablo and star craft for the DS they would be true DS "killer apps"
Maybe. Hype has a lot to do with it as well and not to mention the quality of the game. Starcraft 64 and Command and Conquer 64 didn't sell any consoles, now did it?

Diablo DS that would be the best game for the ds, especialy if it was online! I hope nintendo considers this!! Diablo is one of the bigest RPG games out!!!
VideoGamerJ... well there you go, I didn't even know there was a Starcraft64 and C&C64 (i'm a ex-PC gamer). But yeah, I know some PC gamers who would take a second look if there was an portable diablo game.
gamer j....its funny how you dont take consideration into control issues...and online play....the 2 main reasons the n64 versions failed....no mouse control(stylus) and no online play(which ds has)
A lot of PC games dont do so well on home consoles systems so these games if they are coming may not be as big selling as expected.
Still it sounds good. but how about not remakes of old games but UPDATES to them if not toally new sequels I hate rehased remakes.
Online and two screens and touch will make these games more appealing than when they failed on the N64, we have to wait ands see what it will turn out like.
If they asked gamers then i would like the possibility to answer that with a yes. couldn´t you make a poll or a name gathering list so that people that are interested can show their interest or do as you did with HDTV for revolution on your webbsite ?
Guaranteed my computer/Xbox buddies would buy a DS if Diablo II was released. I can only speak for the people I know.
I would love to play battlenet style starcraft on my DS, it would absolutely rule, I would buy it even if were online only. Diablo would rock as well
Diablo on the DS? Blizzard are my favourite 3rd party company. There is no way they can mess this up. Especially with their expertise and devotion to games like WoW and D2:LoD

sending starcraft and diablo on the DS is an exellent idea,i would buy those two game for sure!
