Revolution release date revealed?
Looks like the Revolution will be coming out mid-2006. Monolithic Systems Technologies, the company which makes the memory component for the Nintendo GameCube, has announced that they will be making a memory component for the Nintendo Revolution, but in a conference call yesterday, Mark Voll, Interim CEO and Chief Financial Officer of Monolithic Systems Technologies says, "We are excited to be a participating member of the Nintendo team once again as Nintendo will roll out its successor game console to the GameCube in mid-2006."Nintendo hasn't confirm any release date for the Nintendo Revolution, but Nintendo says that they will launch their next gen console before or at the same time with the Sony PS3 which rumors are hovering that Sony PS3 might come out 2006.
