My grandfather said Pac-Man was a great character.
Is he telling truth?

The game is interesting, but I want 3D N64 best graphics with my 2 screens and touch, not 2D SNES.

Your grandfather was a smart guy in his assessment of classic video games, young troll. Alas, not so smart in avoiding procreation, thereby sparing us of your witty (NOT) comments.

You do get points, however, for sharing a legitimate opinion at the end of your half-assed posting.

And Pac-Man would be somewhat correct, as I am of German descent. I guess you're trying to imply that freedom of "speach" extends to Pac-Man now too...here's hoping he doesn't share your warped, prepubescent "grasp" of that concept. (Actually, the only thing that you're really good at "grasping" is...well, we won't go there yet.)

I practically own the rights to Pac-Man (but not like I own YOU, troll) after feeding him many hundreds of quarters back in the day.

Not suprisingly, you mangled the contraction "you're" in your feeble attempt to respond. I strongly encourage you to hit the English books instead of your PUD, errr, your PSP before the school year's out, tool.

HAHAHAHA…
That was the FIRST time that I read your juvinile response to me since you were proven to be a communist back in those other topics.I should read them more often, they amuse me with your hypocritical lack of logic.
You see, OLD FART, as a 16 year old I can still get away with acting immature, but what’s Your excuse? “I will own you” hahaha yeah that’s what my 14 and 15 year old friends say, not my DAD who is your age, dumbass .
Wow you own the rights to Pac-Man eh? BAHAHAHAHA

PSP>>>>>>DS
PSP quality controller>>>>>>Hypocritical Nazi boy who doesn’t know how to act his age.

Oh and Pac-Man on the DS looks actually interesting, I just saw some videos, not bad. But needs to be 3D its not 1980.

1) Dude. "Juvinile" = juvenile. I won't bother posting the live link to Dictionary.com as you clearly can't be bothered to use it to improve yourself.

2) No excuses needed here, little one -- I really DO own you, when it comes to posting erudite -- oops, forgot who I was writing to, that means "learned"-- expertly crafted responses that don't resort to labeling and inane filler comments like "BWAHAHAHA." (Okay -- I DO call you tool, troll and a couple other choice handles that relate entirely to your lack of maturity and utter stupidity, but that's really just objective, truthful observance and not really labeling.)

3) I'm flabbergasted that you have friends AT ALL, a bit shocked that they even know HOW to use "own" as slang or otherwise in an English sentence, and not entirely surprised to find that they're 1-2 years younger than you. Pimply, insecure geeks always try to impress the younger set when they fail to do so with their peers. (Witness Anthony Michael Hall's character in "Sixteen Candles" -- classic movie) Besides, I'm sure your immediate peers have effectively shunned you, and with good reason -- your presence here on the DS Update site has proven that you have little if any social merit whatsoever.

4) If you know my age then you've most likely checked out my Blogger profile, you bad boy. Listen, I would prefer that you resisted the overwhelming temptation to fantasize over my profile picture while you...well...you know, do what you normally do with your sister's Ken doll and a handful of Kleenex in the privacy of your own cave. I'm really uncomfortable with that...

5) Finally -- and you may want to sit down for this -- I totally agree with you on Pac-Pix. It would be better if it were somehow more 3D. Pac-N-Roll, due out later this year, is more of top-down 3D affair. But Pac-Pix doesn't look too bad, and I still plan to pick it up upon release next week.

I LOVE making old people respond long and emotional responces to me. See The 16 year old can act this way, no problem, but making YOU respond this way is how I always win, Nazi.
Your like putty in my hands. And at YOUR AGE, I bet thats not the ONLY thing that feels like putty, need some viagra old man?

I skimmd over your long typing job that I MADE YOU DO, as for #5
Do you think developers COULD make a "draw in 3D type" game? That would be cool, but hard to make, I guess thats why they do it in 2D with Yoshi and Pac-man. Still if someone can do this it would be great, watch your 2D drawing turn into a 3d character, or something cool.

Now you Nazi, I COMMAND YOU TO FLAME ME AGAIN Like you have obayed my comands and flamed me before!!!!!

hahaha

The only putty in your hands is that pitiful scrap of meat in your....well, again, I'll try not to go there. And I won't give you the satisfaction (though I suspect I enjoy it much more than you) of one of my usual flame-fests.

Now, to the legit discussion: yes, I think it must be possible to do Pac-Pix in 3D on DS. Picture this: you draw him 2D (as Pac-Pix currently requires), but then he morphs into the "kind" of Pac-Man that we've seen scans of from the Pac-N-Roll game coming later this year. You would still need to "point" him in the direction he needs to go to chase monsters, BUT -- I think a morphed 3D P-M would theoretically work in Pac-Pix. And would look pretty neat -- can you imagine the animation possibilities? The "look" of Pac-Pix is okay as it is, I guess, but I agree that it needs...something more. Like I said, I'll probably get it, but am waiting to hear some reviews first.

I hate to admit it, but just looking at Pac-Pix, I kinda have that "Yoshi T&G" feeling about it -- I like to play my son's copy of T&G for about 20 minutes, and then feel like, "Okay...now what?" T&G is a GREAT game, and I like it a lot, but it just doesn't hook me for long (like Metroid Fusion or Advance Wars, etc.)

Finally, I bought Polarium yesterday. Easily the most rewarding AND frustrating game I've purchased yet for DS. I was ready to hurl my DS through the window several times last night when I was stuck on a puzzle, but the game kept me hooked for at least a FEW hours. Even if you're not into puzzle-type games -- I am, and occasionally wish I had a PSP right now for Lumines alone -- I HIGHLY recommend at least renting Polarium. It REALLY pulls you in...
