Metroid Prime Hunters to See Full Online Play

According to Spong, Metroid Prime: Hunters has been confirmed to be an online title by a retail source. While I usually don't go entirely for this type of news, as a retail source could have easily made this up; Spong is very credible. The information is believed to originate from a Nintendo representative which points directly to NST (the developers of Metroid Prime: Hunters).

“The game will be fully online and we were as surprised as anyone. Nintendo told us that we should think along the lines of Halo 2, deathmatches, online leagues and so on'. It is going to be shown running online at E3 and will hit [in the US] in mid-summer.”

With the last sentence, it gives us confidence that the Nintendo DS will have online titles before the fall. One last thing, for those who still haven't figured it out, the Mario, Zelda, and Revolutionary Features post is an April Fool's post. Sorry if we offended anyone ^_^

Sweet.
Metroid DS online is really good news.
However SPONGE is a source as reliable as my little sisters Barbie dolls. They love to make up things more than I love to drink hard booze.

Also, I am sober, for once. So maybe the news will be better when I am drunk and while I recharge my PSP…again.

He's got a point.

I would never call Sponge a reliable source. Their well know on the net for being a group to sell rumors as facts.

Alright, this sounds good, Metroid Prime Hunters is on top of my list of games to get, lets just hope this isn't another Rumor from SPONGE.
