Nintendo Polls for Revolution

Nintendo is now polling on thier forums for the games that people would like to see on Nintendo Revolution. The possible options for voting are:
-More M-rated games. Please
-All new franchises and characters for my age group.
-Mario, Mario, and more Mario
-I'd like more T-rated games. No more kiddie titles

This is good for Nintendo, although I do not think that the options cover the full range of what gamers want though. Perhaps an option such as 'New franchises and the classics to go with it'. Either way it is good to see that Nintendo is looking towards thier next generation console and polling the gamers to see what they want.

Who needs M-rated games? From what I gather, they could be the same game without the "mature content". I don't like at all how people are being bought over by these "mature themes"; they are completely (maybe) unnecasary. It would also go against Nintendo's "family/game anyone can enjoy" theme. Not everyone can (legaly) play M-rated games. They don't need to have what makes them M-rated. I don't find Nintendo to be "kiddie"; what I consider "kiddie" games are games in the class of EC rating. As long as it's fun/challenging, it's not kiddie. I hate how people use that term in reference to Nintendo. They might appear "kiddie" on the outside, and the themes might not be "mature", but they're video games, I play them for fun, not violence, blood, language, and sexual themes. Come to think of it, T-rated games don't really need to be T-rated. Look at Ocarina of Time, E-rated, won game of the year, hailed by many as one of the greatest games of all time. Besides, it would be against many of the games' themes (such as Mario) to "be more mature". Anyway, I'm annoyed that people think they need mature themes in their games, the main reason I frown upon GTA series. But whatever, it probably shouldn't concern me, I'm just in a closet-frustrated mood, and just felt like venting.

Just to add, I agree in that the options don't cover enough. And, it is good that Nintendo is attempting to conform to the general public, (I'm just annoyed at what the general public values) although I hope they don't take it too far and get too "mature" (I'm quite certain they won't though).
