DS PDA, GBE Launch?

Before you read on. Note the first half is stricktly news the second half is my speculation.

According to www.spong.com Nintendo will be making the most aggressive move in handheld gaming history. Apparently Nintendo will show off the gb2, otherwise known as game boy evolution at this years E3 expo. Many things were confirmed that no one really thought would be announced till at least e3 2006. It seems that the DS will have a PDA OS produced by Nintendo, As well as that the GBE will have revolution connectivity that will expand upon what was done with the GBA. Also, The GBE will be based off of, possibly identical to Gamecube technology.

That said here’s my insight on the situation. Click Here.

What world do you live on? Is it a nice world?
Really, until a more reliable source comes out with more concrete evidence we need to take a big step back and wait and see.

This does sound very interesting, and I’m hopeful that the DS and GBA2 can co-exist well. But, it looks like the DS was mainly used as something to take the wind out of Sony’s PSP sales and not a serious piece of hardware, or we would have better games for it.
