Soul Calibur DS?

It appears that a remake of the original Soul Calibur will be made for the DS and may include Link. This information comes from a foreign language Nintendo magazine. This version is suppose to surpass the original in graphics and audio. Also this is suppose to be a Namco project. No official confirmations have been confirmed yet, but hopefully we will see it soon and online.

Not to sound anti-DS, but the DS has yet to show me that it can do graphics beyond the first Soul Calibur which was on the Sega Dreaamcast...

I agree. The DS is powerful, sure, but aiming for the quality of graphics of Soul Calibur on the DC is a little out of the question. I think they meant Soul Edge (the predecessor to Soul Calibur). Because there is no way the DS could "surpass the original in graphics and audio" if the original refers to Soul Calibur, but this would be very possible if they meant "Soul Edge" instead.

Well, think: the DS' graphics are on DC level, and sometimes are more comparable (sp?) to the graphics on a GCN. (MPH)
