Linux DS

Apparently someone has Linux running on the Nintendo DS by using some external hardware. For those of you who have no idea what Linux is, it is similar to UNIX, which is an open-source operating system and is most commonly used to run servers. You can see the picture here. The hardware is currently quite bulky, but the hope is to get the whole operating system down to a single portable cartridge.

That said, DS Update would like to welcome another Jr. Reporter who will be here on a trial basis. Hopefully, he will be a valued member of the DS Update team, welcome ElMariachi.

This is just a homebrew demo running on it, not linux at the moment. There are a few people who have a setup similar.
