Nintendo DS Development Emulator Revealed!!!!!

It seems tha the sources over at Planet Gamecube were able to aquire the first pic of the Nintendo DS Development KIts., which is a rare piece of hardware that will be implemented in the development of DS titles.

The unit in the pic is a more advanced version of the Dev Kit originaly released to some developers. But the difference between the two is that this version allows for the touchscreen feature to be tested out. (how is unsure , but is speculated that the touchscreen image is displayed on a connect PC and can be manipulated by a mouse or touchpad)This is a more advanced unit than the bare chipset originally released to some developers. Regardless, this newer emulator accepts direct touchscreen input just like a normal, production DS, making it easier for developers to understand=how players will interact with the touchscreen.

Just as a quick side not, in the development community, the unit is still being called "Nitro". The "IS: on the emulator stands for Itelligent Systems (responsible for Paper Mario, Fire Emblem, and the Advance Wars series), the development studio where the Ds and GBA emulators are developed.

The white sticker on the emulator case says "Confidential". On top of the case are two slots, one for DS game cards and the other for GBA cartridges.
