DS's official release date

I found this on Gamecube network:

Nintendo announced today that their upcoming 2 screened handhelds release date and the first party games it will launch with.

The Nintendo DS will be launched on a tentative November 18th 2004, in time for the X-mas season.

These first party games will be availiable at launch:

Animal Crossing DS
Mario Kart DS
Super Mario 64 X 4
Metroid Prime: Hunters
an unknown Super Mario Bros. title
Nintendogs
Pictochat
WarioWare DS

Keep in mind that these are only the first party titles and not a full launch line up. Companies all the way from Namco to Square-Enix have all pledged support of the quirky handheld machine.

EDIT: NinfanBoy commented "Hey, Ninfanboy here. I just wanted to point out that the First-Party launch titles listed in the news is in no way confirmed. Gamecube Network mostly got that news from www.spong.com -- a site that is known to be spreading rumours as facts." Thanks ninfanboy.

I hate to burst your bubble, but you apparently haven't read my Nintendo DS blog located at blog456.blogspot.com. The Nintendo DS is a hopeless waste of electricity and silicon.

Excuse me but yours isn't the only opinion that matters. In fact I am sure most people disagree with your article on the DS.

I am very sorry if I have offended you in any way, which I am sure I have. I just highly disagree with the release of the DS. Please disregard my comment and delete it if you wish.
